How do we create our wooden watches?

We love being different! Creating watches from wood takes a special kind of talent. We work together with skilled designers and craftsmen who have an eye for innovation and really embody our passion for connecting with the world, our environment and our customers.

From design to prototype, each of our collections is made with love and inspected for wearability, quality and durability by our expert team.

Are the watches and other products made of real wood?

Yes, they are! We use natural, sustainably sourced wood from all over the world. Each wood type has its own unique colours, patterns and grain, making each WoodWatch one-of-a-kind.

How to adjust the strap size of a wooden watch?

The size of your wooden watch can be adjusted by removing some links from the strap. This is easily done by a jeweller, a watchmaker, or yourself. Your delivery will include several tools that you can use to easily adjust the strap yourself.

Your watch will always fit you perfectly!

How to add engraving to a WoodWatch?

Each WoodWatch can be engraved with a personal message of up to 60 characters on the backplate of the watch and be done during your order. Each pair of WoodWatch BlueBlocker glasses or sunglasses can be engraved with a personal message of up to 30 characters on the inside of the left arm.

How to apply the WoodWatch wax?

To make sure your wooden watch lives a long, interesting life, we’ve developed the WoodWatch Wax, made from 100% natural ingredients. Simply apply a small amount of wax on the wooden parts of your WoodWatch and give it a gentle rub.

How to set the time, date and/or moonphase on a wooden watch?

The crown of your wooden watch has several positions. The standard position is fully pressed, position 1 is halfway extended and position 2 is fully extended. Position 2 allows you to change the time of the main dial and the day of the week.

Position 1 allows you to adjust the moondial to match with the current moon stance. The moonphase dial is designed to turn every ~30 days which is the approximate time between full moons.

How to add a different strap to a wooden watch?

We love our interchangeable watch straps! Why? Every strap you choose is a decision to be who you are at that particular moment. Seamlessly style your strap to match your unique personality. Check out our Straps page to see for which collections you can buy matching straps in (vegan) leather.

Is it possible to add gift wrapping to an order?

Buying a WoodWatch as a gift for a loved one? Each wooden watch comes beautifully packaged in a sustainable cardboard box, ready for a unique unboxing experience. Want to add a little extra oomph? During checkout you can also add extra gift-wrapping or even a handmade pinewood box to your order, so the receiver can store their WoodWatch safely when they aren’t wearing it.
